1. Who is God?

a.God has always existed and always will. (Psalm 90:2)
b.God is the creator of all things. (Genesis 1:1)

the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)

2. What is the Bible?

a.The Bible is the Word of God. (II Peter 1:20-21)
b.The Bible is a living spiritual force of God that accomplishes the will of God. (Hebrews 4:12)
c. The Bible equips us to do the will of God. (II Timothy 3:16)

3. Who are People?

a.People are God’s most important creation, made in His image. (Genesis 1:26-27)
b.People were created to love God, to love people and to make the world a better place. (Genesis 1:28)
c. People are fallen into sin and in need of redemption. (Romans 5:12)

4. What is the Family?

a.The family is the foundation of society. (Genesis 2: 24)
b.Marriage between one man and one woman is the foundation of the family. (Matthew 19:1-4)
c. Families bear children and raise them in the knowledge of God for the preservation of good society. (Deuteronomy 6: 1-2 & Ephesians 6:1-4)

5. What is Sin?

a.Sin is rebellion against God by breaking His law. (I John 3:4)
b.Sin separates us from God and it releases the power of evil. (Romans 1: 18-31)
c. Sin is only remedied by God’s grace through our faith. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

6. What is Salvation?

a.Salvation is justification that results in spiritual birth. (Romans 3:21-25 & John 3:3-16)
b.Salvation is secure because it is a completed work of God; Christ earned it, the Father justified us and the Holy Spirit regenerated us. (Romans 5:1-2)
c. Salvation is in three stages: justification,sanctification and glorification. (Ephesians 3:16-19 & I John 3:2)

7. Who is Jesus Christ?

a.Jesus Christ is God. (John 1:1-2)
b.Jesus Christ took on humanity to be our Savior. (John 1:14)
c.Jesus Christ lived on earth, died for our sins, was buried, rose again on the third day and he will return to reign in glory. (I Corinthians 55: 3-5 & Matthew 24:30)

8. Who is the Holy Spirit?

a.The Holy Spirit is the third person of The Trinity. (Matthew 28:19)
b.The Holy Spirit mediates the life of God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ in His children. (Romans 8:9)
c. Four works of the Holy Spirit in us are regeneration, sanctification, preservation and vocation. (John 3:5, Galatians 5, Romans 8:37 & Ephesians 2:10)

9. What is the Church?

a.The Church, the Body of Christ, is comprised of all Christians. (Ephesians 1:22-23 & I Corinthians 12:13)
b.The Church fulfills its work in the world through local churches. (Acts 14:23)
c. The mission of the Church is to lead people all the way from unbelief to becoming Christian leaders who change the world. (Matthew 28:18-20)

10. What will the Future hold?

a.The next major event in prophesy to occur will be the Tribulation. (Matthew 224:21 & Revelation 7:14)
b.The second coming of Jesus Christ will follow the Tribulation. (Matthew 24:30 & Revelation 19:11-16)
c.After His second coming, Jesus Christ will bring the final judgements on Satan, the unholy angels and unbelieving people and he will bless his holy people and holy angels in the New Heaven, New Earth and Holy City forever. (Revelation 20-22)
